Thank you for stopping by and reading. If you’re just jumping in, you might have some questions, which I’ve tried to answer here.
What’s this blog about?
This is the story of what it’s like to move forward when someone takes something from you that cannot be replaced. It meant everything to me, and nothing to him. It was just something he did.
What do you do then?
You go forward, and open yourself up to all the possibilities you had never considered.
That seems a little vague, doesn’t it? What sort of things?
A little bit of dating, a whole lot of cooking, and quite a lot of reflecting.
How do I catch up? Where do I begin?
You can use the menus above to take you through the main stories, or use the links below.
The Divorce will take you through the story of the divorce, along with some of the aftermath. If you want to know more about the marriage that came before the divorce, use the category Scenes from a Marriage.
The Dating is about the interesting assortment of people I met (or attempted to meet) when I became single.
The Romance is about the very interesting person I did meet, who lives far, far away. (Well, not that far, but it seems like it sometimes.)
The Cooking is an alphabetical index of recipes I made, and the occasional cooking disaster.
A Long Story is a work in progress – my life, from the beginning.
Some of the other stories are currently stand-alones, but will eventually become their own sections.
Who are you? Why are you writing this blog anonymously?
I’m an actual person writing about my life, but of course that includes writing about other people, whose privacy must be considered.
I’ve got a question or have something I want to say.
Email Me! I so much appreciate hearing from readers, and try my best to reply.
This is kind of interesting, I’d like to follow along regularly.
